Service department of humanities provides library and information services.
In carrying out its tasks service department:
- Organize differentiated service readers in reading rooms and subscriptions, using the methods of individual and group services;
- Provides advice in the search and selection of printed and other documents;
- Performs bibliographic references and advises readers to use directories and files;
- Participates in the educational work, promoting literature, reflecting the ideological and political diversity prevailing in the society, the best works of Russian and foreign classical literature, music literature;
- Organizes exhibitions and screenings, exhibitions and screenings of new books;
- Participates in the acquisition of the library, organizes auxiliary collections department and ensures their safety.
