The department of scientific processing and documents’ systematization is structural sub-unit in Education Information Centre.

The most important functions and the tasks of the department of scientific

processing and systematization of documents (SPSD):

1. scientific processing and systematization of documents;
2. analytic-synthetically processing of documents;
3. organization of guide-bibliographical apparatus in EIC;
4. creation of an alphabet- subject index;
5. to form the database of electronic catalogues in EIC;
6. technical processing of documents;
7. cataloging of new acquisitions;
8. current and planned editing of traditional and electronic catalogues;
9. convert traditional card index into electronic form;

In processing of analytical-synthetic documents ( systematization, indexing, index) is used: Universal-Decimal Classification (UDC); Library-Bibliographic Classification (BBK); Decimal Classification (DC);

The Database of Electronic catalogues in EIC:

1. Text-book;
2. Scientific Literatures;
3. Foreign literatures;
4. Electronic fond;
5. Articles;
6. Works of TPS;
7. Abstract and dissertations;    

Operationg time: 9.00 - 18.00 hours.
Saturday: 9.00 - 15.00 hours.
