Within the framework of the republican action “One country - one Вook” on November 28, 2024 the Educational-Information Center together with the teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Philology, held a literary-musical evening “ Балалар әдебиетінің бәйтерегі ”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous children's writer Berdibek Sokpakbaev.

Mr. Kurmangali Rakhimberdievich Sarykulov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, made a welcoming speech at the event. He congratulated the participants on the anniversary, spoke about the life path of Berdibek Sokpakpaev, who made an invaluable contribution to Kazakh literature and noted that his great legacy has been passed on to the generations.

Students showed an excerpt from the movie “My name is Kozha”, then showed a dramatization of this work, which made a great impression on the audience. The guys managed to convey the atmosphere of that period of childhood of the main character of the work.

The event was complemented by a book exhibition, where works such as: “Journey to Childhood”, “Champion”,  “ My name is Kozha ”, “Ayazhan” and others were presented.
